StuyHacks XI!

Thank you for signing up to attend StuyHacks XI! Please read until the end of this long email for all information!
StuyHacks XI will be held virtually for a total of 24hrs on Saturday and Sunday (1/15 and 1/16) from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST for both days. Here is the schedule for the two days:

Saturday 1/15:
8:00 - 8:30 → Opening Ceremony
8:30 - 9:00 → Team Building
9:30 - 10:30 → Introduction to Flask
11:00 - 12:00 → Introduction to Python
12:00 - 1:00 → Lunch
1:30 - 2:30 → The Wonders of Game of Life
3:00 - 4:00 → Introduction to Resume Writing
4:30 - 5:30 → How to Use Arduino to Create Cool Innovation
6:00 - 7:00 → Dinner
7:00 - 8:00 → Web Development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Sunday 1/16:
8:00 - 9:00 → Getting Started with API's
9:30 - 10:30 → Open Source, Including Git and GitHub
11:00 - 12:00 → Building Cool Interfaces with Streamlit
12:00 - 1:00 → Lunch
1:30 - 2:30 → Introduction to Data Science and its Applications
3:00 - 4:00 → How to Build a Cloud-Connected 3D Virtual Reality App
4:30 - 5:30 → Tetris
5:30 → Projects are Due!
6:00 - 7:00 → Dinner
7:30 - 8:00 → Closing Ceremony

Please make sure that you join our Discord server since the organizers and mentors will be answering questions there. Any updates will also be posted on Discord. Here is the link to join if you haven't already: https://discord.gg/8jMdeVXc.
You can also join us through our Devpost page: https://stuyhacks-xi.devpost.com.
Make sure to register through Devpost as well if you plan to submit a project! We will be using Devpost for project submissions. You can find a detailed breakdown of our prizes there.
If you are interested in submitting a project but do not have a team, you can join the Team Building workshop from 8:30 - 9:00 am EST on Saturday. If you have a team and want to sign up as a team, you can fill out the Team Sign-up form, which we’ll be sending out on Sunday.
We will be using Zoom to host our opening ceremony, closing ceremony, and workshops. The Zoom meeting will be open the whole time from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST for both days. Here is the link:
